Hello colleagues, this week I would like to ask if you attended Saturday's meet the candidates. As we all know it takes great leadership in both your OR as well as in your professional organization. Over the years there has been a decline in members voting for the future leaders of AORN. Hearing from candidates as well as reading their bios, listening to how they answer questions or what they bring to the table can help determine who rises in AORN leadership roles. We have many great candidates to choose from which can make the choice more difficult. 

So did you listen? Did you read the journal? How do you encourage your team members to VOTE? 

Please share your thoughts remember every member has a vote and we need to encourage them to exercise their right to ensure continued great leadership of the organization.
