Greetings everyone
Today I want to ask if anyone has participated in Nurses Day at the state capital of their state? This is a great opportunity to meet and speak with legislative representatives who shape how our state enacts laws. Our legislative representatives need us to help guide them, particularly on any issues that impact how we work. Please share any story about anyone who has been to a state capital nurses day event. I have attended my state’s (Arkansas) nurses’ day to meet and discuss smoke evacuation. As a reminder Leadership Specialty Assembly is Monday, February 16th at 6:00PM.

I truly did not know this was a thing. I looked it up and it appears the next one for Texas is in 2027. I have added it to my calendar.
