Good morning everyone,
Can you believe we’re just a few days away from Christmas and the end of the year? This year truly flew by!
If you were able to join us at last week’s Monthly LSA Meeting, we had a wonderful presentation from Claire Zangerle and Joel Ray on “Predicting and Preventing Nurse Burnout Using Data-Driven Insights.”
To keep that conversation going, here’s this week’s question:
How can leaders recognize burnout early and intervene before it impacts the team and/or patient safety?

Jennifer I believe that the indicators discussed identifying early detection of burn out allow us to address the potential of the burn out issue. It's like anything the earlier you identify a potential problem the quicker and easier it could be to alleviate the issue to prevent burnout from occurring.
