Greetings Everyone
Wow it is October already and time continues to fly by. Being that National Perioperative nurse’s week is November 9th – 15th what are some of the things you will be doing to show appreciation to your nursing staff? Will you display a proclamation from the governor, Mayor, or city you live in to recognize the work perioperative nurses do? What kind of event might you have? Looking forward to hearing about you recognize your staff.

Have a great week

I love the quote Kenny! Regarding Perioperative Nurses Week, we exploring various ideas, trying to come up with something different. That way it’s more thoughtful and meaningful.
Love the quote Kenny.
We are always looking for fun and meaningful ways to recognize our team's hard work and dedication. It is all about celebrating the heart of nursing and being appreciative of the team!
We are an ambulatory surgery center so we celebrate our entire team during one week in August for ASC week to make sure we don't miss anyone group for their week. This year we did 'The Price is Right' and had a list of supplies, etc. and dollar amounts to match-everyone who participated was in a drawing for a gift $75 gift card, breakfast burritos one morning, lemonade truck one afternoon with specialty lemonades, barbecue food truck for lunch one day, and coffee cart one morning . Everyone also received t-shirts with our logo where a front pocket would go. We have also done things like a sucker pull (suckers are color coded on bottom to correspond with gift cards), breakfast pizzas, lunch bags with logo.
That’s a beautiful quote Kenny, kindness is light
