Hello all, we talked about HRO last week, so tell me how you are making your work culture better? What are you doing to encourage engagement and team building? We have lots of tools however how are you implementing them to foster engagement, commitment and safer patient care? Please share your thoughts as we continue to learn from each other!

our organization is just beginning the HRO journey. I have an in person monthly meeting with all of my directors from across the health system and we discuss many leadership topics. I've been there a year and we have already read 5 leadership books. Our next book is HRO! We not only want to understand the HRO journey but we want to demonstrate our understanding of what that means as leaders and to our staff every day :) I've had the HRO conversation with my central sterile team to talk about how the work they do contributes to an HRO and what that looks like in their department.

That is awesome Jamie! With greater engagement retention is improved so it is important to all of use to work together with all of the teams that are essential to safe patient care.
